Short Term Study Trips at the University of Dubuque

Short term study trips are offered at the University of Dubuque at least once each semester.  These trips are offered for 1-3 hours of academic credit and are led by University faculty.  Students participating in these study trips meet weekly for pre-trip lectures and must complete a portfolio of required projects upon their return.
 

Short Term Study for the 2002-2003 Academic Year:

  • Fall Term
    The Art and Culture of Scotland, October 17-25. 
    Led by Prof. Alan Garfield.
  • Spring Term
    The Art and Culture of Spain and Italy, February 28-March 8. 
    Led by Prof. Alan Garfield. 
Projected Study Trips for the 2003-2004 Academic Year
  • Fall Term
    The Art and Culture of Holland, Germany & Belgium
    Led by Prof. Alan Garfield
  • Spring Term
    The Art and Culture of Ireland
    Led by Prof. Alan Garfield
 

You may register for study trips when you complete pre-registration for the coming semester.  Study trips are always listed in the course catalog.
 

Campus Ministry also conducts Spring Break mission trips.  In the past, students have traveled to South Africa and Guatemala to help with the work of established missions.   During Spring Break 2003, students will travel to Italy and South Africa  While these trips may also be taken for academic credit, admission is by application to the Director of Campus Ministry, Dr. Alan Crandall.  Further information on Campus Ministry trips is available by contacting Dr. Crandall directly: Email:  acrandal@dbq.edu.  Phone:  563-589-3582
