education in realizing this mission. International experience can
challenge, enlighten, teach, and inspire our students to become global

What That Means for You
The International Studies Program was
created to promote study abroad for the students and faculty of the
University of Dubuque.
- Short term study
trips are offered at least once each semester. These trips are
offered for 1-3 hours of academic credit and are led by University

search. In addition, we will help you with applications and travel
plans and will be your University contact while you are abroad.
Although the University does not currently sponsor its own semester
abroad programs, we have the knowledge and experience to help you
find a program that’s right for you.
